Ex-Union minister & BJP’s Ambala MP Rattan Lal Kataria passes away

Rattan Lal Kataria, former Union Minister and BJP MP from Ambala passed away on May 18.
He served as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Jal Shakti and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment till 7 July 2021.
He was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from Ambala.
Previously, he was elected to the 13th Lok Sabha from Ambala as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The Haryana government declared a one-day state mourning as a mark of respect to Kataria. “The Tricolour will fly at half-mast and there will be no official entertainment,” said an official order.
