According to the Union health ministry, on 23 April a total of 10,112 cases of covid-19 were found in India, while the total number of active cases increased to 67,806.
The death cases climbed to 5,31,329. with the fresh cases, India’s covid 19 cases are now 4.48 crore. the weekly positivity rate was observed at 5.43% and the daily positivity rate was observed at 7.03%.
According to the website of the Health Ministry, the national covid-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.66%. now the active cases comprise up to 0.15% of the total infections
the case fatality record was 1.18% while the number of people who recovered from the disease surged to 4,42,92,854.
Under the nationwide vaccination drive, 220.66 crore doses of covid-19 vaccines have been administered, according to the Ministry’s website.
