Beginning on January 31, the Parliament will hold its budget session for the forthcoming fiscal year 2023–23. The Economic Survey will head off the conference. The President addresses a joint session of both Houses on January 30 or 31 to start off the first phase. The budget is provided on February 1st during this phase. On February 8 or 9, the budget session’s first phase comes to a close. The second phase of the budget session typically starts in the second week of March and lasts until the first few days of May.
