New Delhi : Bhagwat Prashad Sharma, a teacher and writer working in the Polytechnic Department of Galgotias University, was awarded the International Education Award by the Kites Craft Production Organization.

This honor has been given to him for his important contribution and other excellent work done by him in field of education.
He has also been the Coordinator of all the programs held under the “National Service Scheme” of the Government of India in the Polytechnic Department of Galgotias University.
All the programs to be held in the Polytechnic Department such as Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Awareness Campaign for Environment Protection, Road Safety Program, organising Blood Donation Camps, Tree Plantation Programs, Special Programs on Importance of Yoga, Sacrifice Day of Patriots.
Bhagwat Prashad Sharma plays a very important role in these special events to remember them through cultural programs and to create a sense of patriotism amongst students.
He is also a poet, writer and an exceptional motivation speaker. Many of his articles and poems keep getting published in magazines from time to time.
‘Salute to the guardians of the country’ in his one of famous creations. He is credited for many such creations and has also been awarded on several occasions.

He has been given this recent award as a result of the efforts made by him for character building, academic and practical development of the students.
