Lawns of Myanmar Embassy, New Delhi, witnessed the grand celebration of festivals of colours – Holi. The much-awaited Holi get-together was a fun-filled event with guests coming in from the world over.

Ambassadors from Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, and Indonesia, and diplomats from Singapore, Canada, and Burkina Faso, graced the occasion.

The event’s highlight was a special drink – Rosé Sangria, home brewed by Babita Biswas, founder of Homebrew Gossips which was served chilled to the guests. Sangria is an alcoholic drink made by mixing wine, brandy, fruit juice, sliced oranges, and big chunks of mixed fruits. It is rich in antioxidants, Polyphenols, and Flavonoids, which protect cells from ageing.

All diplomats present there were seen enjoying the taste of Rosé Sangria, which was made extra special by Babita Biswas, who added a hint of cinnamon with coconut water to the drink.

The origin of this drink is Spain and Portugal. Its pink colour is because of rose wine, which is used to serve during occasions, adding to the fun and laughter.
