24 circumstances registered towards drug peddlers in J&Okay’s Baramulla

SRINAGAR: Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s (J&Okay) Baramulla District mentioned on Friday that it registered 24 circumstances towards drug peddlers final month.

“As many as 24 circumstances have been registered beneath the NDPS Act and 39 drug peddlers have been arrested throughout January 2024 in Baramulla district, ” police mentioned.

Contraband substances value lakhs of rupees have been recovered from the drug peddlers.

“Final 12 months, 75 drug peddlers have been booked in 264 circumstances and 7 properties of the drug peddlers value Rs 3 crore have been hooked up. It’s a fixed effort of J&Okay Police to make sure that society is saved freed from the drug menace”, police mentioned.
