Delhi drops to ‘very poor’ category in terms of air quality

The air quality of the country’s capital dropped down to 302 according to SAFAR-India which is in the category of ‘very poor’ AQI up to 400.

The air quality around the Delhi University reached the low of 330.

Experts say that this adverse condition of Delhi’s air quality is , owing to unfavourable meteorological and climatic conditions.

Authorities in the National Capital region are directed to increase the parking fees.

This is being done with the aim of minimizing the use of personal vehicles.

Gopal Rai, Minister of Environment in Delhi will chair a meeting with officials of departments responsible of air pollution deduction measures.
