PM Modi participates in “India and USA: Skilling for Future” event

At an event titled “India and USA: Skilling for the Future” held at the National Science Centre in Washington, DC, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and First Lady of the USA Dr. Jill Biden took part.

  1. To increase and improve access to high-quality education across society, the event concentrated on workforce development across higher education institutions.
  2. The Prime Minister emphasized the numerous initiatives India has undertaken to support innovation, skill development, and education. He valued the continued interactions between the academic and research ecosystems in India and the US as well as the ongoing bilateral academic exchanges. The following are the Prime Minister’s five recommendations for reviving India-US cooperation in the fields of education and research:
    => Integrated strategy bringing together business, academia, and the government
    => Promoting teacher and student exchange
    => Coordinating hackathons between the two nations on a range of topics
    =>Mutual acceptance of professional credentials
    =>encouraging visitors who are involved in research and education.
    4 The president of Northern Virginia Community College, the president of the Association of American Universities, the CEO and president of Micron Technology, as well as students, all attended the ceremony.
