183 dreaded dons found dead in 6 years of Yogi govt: 10,933 encounters so far

Lucknow: In the past six years of Yogi Adityanath’s government in Uttar Pradesh, 183 dreaded criminals have been neutralized. According to a report released by the state government, a total of 10,933 encounters have taken place during this period. The report states that out of the 183 slain criminals, 106 were from the A-plus category and carried rewards on their heads. Additionally, over 11,000 criminal cases have been resolved during this period.

The encounters have been carried out by the police department as part of its campaign against crime and criminals in the state. The report indicates that the government has taken strict action against criminals and gangs involved in crimes like extortion, robbery, and murder.

The state government’s efforts to curb crime have been praised by many, while some have raised concerns over the alleged extrajudicial killings. The government has consistently denied these allegations and stated that the encounters were carried out in self-defense and to protect the lives of police officers and civilians.

The report released by the state government highlights the success of its anti-crime campaign, but also notes that the fight against crime is ongoing. The government has stated its commitment to continue its efforts to make Uttar Pradesh a safer place for its residents.
