RRR’s Naatu Naatu Makes History by Winning Best Original Song at the Academy Awards

Los Angeles: The Best Original Song Academy Award was won by RRR’s Naatu Naatu song, and as singer MM Keeravani and Chandrbose collected the trophy, they sang on stage. RRR’s official Twitter account expressed their excitement about this historical achievement, as it marks the first time an Indian feature film has won an Oscar. RRR thanked their fans worldwide and dedicated the award to them.

Naatu Naatu defeated notable names such as Lady Gaga, Diane Warren, and Rihanna, and competed against other songs such as Applause from Tell It Like a Woman, Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick, Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and This Is a Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once. Ram Charan and NTR Jr performed Naatu Naatu in the movie RRR, and their performance made India proud by winning the Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards.
