Shubman Gill broke the record of master blaster, gave 350 target for the visitors

Team India is playing a three match ODI series against New Zealand at home under the captaincy of their regular captain Rohit Sharma. Today in the first ODI in which India won the toss and elected to bat first. After batting first Team India got a tremendous start and Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill added 60 runs for the first wicket and captain got out at 34. Tickner took the first wicket for the visitors.

Let us tell you that after Rohit got out in-form Virat came to bat but he also got out by scoring only 8 runs. Gill kept scoring runs from the one end but wickets also kept falling from the other. Shubman Gill scored a brilliant double ton here and made 208 runs in just 149 balls with help of 19 fours and 9 sixes.

After a very explosive start team India continued batting in the same manner and Gill smashed a brilliant double century and took the Team India to a total of 349 in the given 50 overs. This young player did not spare any Sri Lankan bowlers. Shubman Gill became the youngest player to score a double ton surpassing Ishan Kishan who recently scored his double ton against Bangladesh.

Let us tell you that Shubman Gill also broke the record of highest individual score at this venue by master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. At the time of writing the news Kiwis has also begin the chase. New Zealand made 28 runs without loss in 5 overs.
