Tara Sutaria: My role in Heropanti 2 is quite an unexpected one – Times of India

The year 2021 has kept Tara Sutaria on her toes. The actress has been shooting for multiple films back-to-back. Two of her forthcoming releases include Heropanti 2 and Ek Villain Returns. Both the films are a sequel and feature her for the first time in the respective franchise. The actress is extremely excited to be a part of both these films and can’t stop raving about the projects.

The former reunites her with the Student Of The Year 2 co-star Tiger Shroff. Having made a debut in Bollywood with the action hero, when Tara teamed up with him for this project, her equation with the actor grew much stronger. About the project she says, “I definitely always wanted to do a film in which I play this kind of a role. I feel my character in the film is quite fun and vibrant! It’s the kind of a role I feel everyone at some point or the other wants to do in their career. I must say that it is definitely an unexpected one. Like, people might assume ki yeh role aisa hoga, but it might turn out a little differently.” The Ahmed Khan directorial also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in an important role.

About Ek Villain Returns, Tara says, “This film gave me some of my best experiences that an actor can get on a set. When I played this role… it was an amalgamation of so many different emotions that I could bring to the character. Ek Villain… for me has opened my eyes. It was great working with director Mohit Suri. The music of the film is fantastic, just like the other albums that Mohit’s films boast of. I feel really lucky to be a part of this film.” Tara who’s a singer in real life has apparently got a chance to showcase her vocal skills in the film. It also features Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and John Abraham.
